Who we are

The Under Glass (theunderglass.com) is published by Merchant Dash LLC. For anything in this policy, contact support@merchant-dash.com.

What we don’t collect

There is no newsletter, no account sign-up and no comment section on The Under Glass, so we never ask for your name, email address or a password.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are read. Google Analytics sets analytics cookies in your browser. Google’s handling of that data is described in Google’s privacy policy, and Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.

Hosting and performance

The site is hosted on Vercel, which serves each page you request, and we use Vercel Speed Insights to measure how quickly pages load. See Vercel’s privacy policy.

Affiliate links and cookies

Links that can earn us a commission go through theunderglass.com/go/…. When you click one:

  • our redirect sets a first-party attribution cookie named __fattr, which records which link was clicked;
  • we log the click itself, including the page you came from, your browser’s user-agent string and a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself);
  • the retailer or affiliate network you land on (for example, Amazon) sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
  • You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s add-on linked above.
